BY THE RIVER WILL BE RECEIVING, NOT ONE, BUT TWO EXPANSIONS!

That's right! After much thought and during the production of the "BY THE RIVER sequel", I felt that the design and mechanics didn't feel like a "next installment" or "evolution" in the system, felt more like the same game with some added mechanics. So with that in mind, these new mechanics will be reassigned, adjusted, and split into TWO EXPANSIONS, new trifolders that you can use to play BY THE RIVER with new mechanics and rewarding complexity!

Their names are ROOTBREAKER AND BLOODRAIDS.

In ROOTBREAKER, a special merchant will only appear during the dangerous forest nights, exchange your loot for special currency, and buy different items that will change your play style! You will also be able to purchase MASTERY POINTS to improve your skills in the newest SKILL TREE! But remember, everything the world gives you will take its toll!

And in BLOODRAIDS, you can exchange your nights for RAIDS into forgotten places in the forest, acquiring riches and finding ancient items that can open the way to the true nature of the forest...

Also, an ACHIEVEMENTS table will allow you to earn money by completing specific missions from other hunters!

ABOUT PRICING

These Expansions will be available for those who already purchased and supported BY THE RIVER with any amount, be it with 1 buck or 5, this will make sure that I keep making games and support all the projects I do! If you already purchased and supported BY THE RIVER, you will have automatic access to the Expansions when they come out!

ROOTBREAKER will come first in 2024, and a week or two later, BLOODRAIDS will be available at this itch.io page!
